I'm a UX Researcher, small business owner and travel blogger!
Travel has always been a passion of mine. The same way that most women are addicted to shopping and most men are to sports…I am addicted to traveling.
I was born on Fort Stewart Army Base in Hinesville, Georgia. My family was then stationed in Nuremberg, Germany and eventually we ended up in sunny Miami, Florida where all my childhood memories were created.
My background is very diverse! My mother is from Nassau, Bahamas and my father is from the south side of Chicago. My maternal grandparents are from Haiti and my paternal grandmother is from Tela, Honduras (Central America). I now live in the very fast-paced concrete jungle of New York City....West Harlem to be exact!

This travel website is meant to encourage people from all different backgrounds and walks of life to soak in and appreciate what this world has to offer. Like many of you, I work full-time, have student debt to repay and always run out of time. However, as cliché as it sounds “We only have one life to live” so start living it now! Not tomorrow, not next summer or when you get that new job but RIGHT NOW! I’ll be sharing my experiences on past, current and upcoming travels. I’ll teach you how to travel in your own city (I love staycations!), the difference between a vacation and a cultural trip, and of course how to budget for it all. Truthfully, you don’t have to be rich to travel.
